mail2web.com sponsored Alex Job/Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Porsche 911 GT3 RS wins Le Mans 24 in the GT-class

Toronto, Ontario --- June 16, 2003

mail2web.com, a leading free web-based email application, and brand of SoftCom Technology Consulting Inc., is pleased to announce their sponsored car – Alex Job/Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Porsche 911 GT3 RS – has won the 80th annual Le Mans 24 race in the GT-Class. This is the second consecutive year that a mail2web.com sponsored car has won Le Mans 24 in the GT-Class.

The No. 93 car suffered a broken shifter, two punctured radiators, loose bodywork and a failed alternator, but was still able to win the GT-Class by three-laps. The car was piloted by Porsche Motorsport Factory drivers Lucas Luhr – a third-time Le Mans winner (2000, 2002 and 2003), Sascha Maassen and Emmanuel Collard – a former Cadillac LMP 900 driver in ALMS and Le Mans. Maassen and Collard are both first-time Le Mans winners.
