Alex Job/mail2web.com car finishes 1st at Miami Grand Prix of the Americas

Toronto, Ontario --- September 29, 2003

mail2web.com, a leading free web-based email application, and brand of global service provider SoftCom Technology Consulting Inc., is very pleased with the 1st place performance of the Alex Job/mail2web.com team in the American Le Mans Series GT-Class in Miami this past weekend. This marks the fifth win of the season for drivers Sascha Maassen and Lucas Luhr.

The No. 23 Alex Job/mail2web.com Porsche GT3 RS took advantage of a late accident 8 minutes before the checkered flag when fellow teammates Timo Bernhard and Jörg Bergmeister crashed into a concrete barrier. The No. 24 Alex Job/mail2web.com Porsche GT3 RS finished sixth.

The conditions of the track were worsened by the rain and a large bump on the short straight. As a result, all cars participating suffered particularly from suspension problems.

Sascha Maassen and Lucas Luhr clinched the 2003 American Le Mans Series GT championship with their win at Laguna Seca on September 7th.

To finish out the season, the team will travel to Road Atlanta for the Petite Le Mans scheduled October 18.
