The following are steps taken in a typical mail2web.com session:

Throughout the entire session, all activities of a user remain anonymous. Session cookies are only used to maintain a secure session while you are logged into your email account, and even then the cookies are deleted once a session ends. See our Privacy Policy for additional information. When a user logs off from the mail2web.com application, no information remains permanently recorded on the system (with the exception of any customization settings if chosen by the user). Users will be required to log back into the application after an extended period of inactivity. This ensures additional security and reduces the possibility of unauthorized use.

mail2web.com does not move any of your email. It simply allows you to view your email from any host server, anywhere in the world. However you decide to view your messages, they still remain waiting to be downloaded when you use your regular email program.

Deleting email messages when using the mail2web.com application will actually delete those selected messages from your mail server. These messages are not retrievable after they have been deleted. Be very careful how you use this option. If you are unsure, wait until you are using your regular email client (which will save local copies of your mail onto your computer) before deleting the message. Messages can be deleted by either selecting them individually (clicking the box next to the message number) and then clicking the "Delete Selected Messages" button, or all messages in your Inbox can be deleted by clicking the "Delete All Messages" button.
